A Meeting in Beijing: Discussing the Future of Kenyan Coffee with John Chikati

We recently concluded a productive meeting in Beijing with our esteemed partner, Mr. John Chikati. The primary objective was to discuss the next phase of our collaboration regarding the local processing and value addition of Kenyan coffee beans.The Vision for Cooperation
Kenya is globally renowned for producing some of the highest-quality Arabica coffee in the world. However, much of this potential remains untapped in terms of local processing. Our discussions with Mr. Chikati focused on bridging this gap by establishing robust processing capabilities within Kenya
The Discussion
The meeting in Beijing was characterized by a spirit of collaboration. We discussed the technical requirements for setting up modern processing units . Mr. Chikati highlighted the importance of sustainable practices that benefit farmers and the environment alike.
Moving Forward
We left the meeting with a clear roadmap. The focus for the coming months will be on finalizing the operational framework for our joint processing initiative. We are excited to work alongside Mr. Chikati to bring the distinct flavor of Kenyan coffee—processed locally—to the world.
