Kenyan corn screening and corn hammer mill
Large-scale corn crushers employ a hammer mill design and can be used to crush grains such as corn, wheat, and sorghum. However, they are not suitable for crushing materials with high fiber content. The equipment features high output, uniform crushing, and easy maintenance.

The machine consists of a rotor, upper and lower housings, a gravel chamber, toothed plates, a screen plate, a motor, and a frame.
Materials are conveyed directly or via belt. The blades rotate with the rotor, and the motor is driven by a coupling or pulley. The material then enters the gravel chamber, where it is impacted and cut by the blades. Under centrifugal force and friction against the screen plate, the gravel becomes smooth and round. Smaller particles that can pass through the screen holes are discharged, while larger particles are further abraded.
