The first stage is cleaning, which is the pretreatment stage. We need to screen and magnetically separate the raw materials to remove large and small impurities and magnetic metals or adsorbents. This is to prepare for subsequent processing.

Then the corn kernels are soaked, which softens the corn kernels and reduces energy consumption during processing. It also helps separate starch from other ingredients.

After that, the corn is crushed. That is, the soaked corn is crushed with a peeling device or a crusher to initially separate the corn endosperm and germ. Then, a secondary crushing is performed to better separate components such as protein and starch.

The next step is the grinding equipment. The corn is ground through different steps and can be ground into different finenesses according to customer requirements. After grinding, the ground corn flour must be dried to control the moisture content.
